Euxton Cllrs Danny Gee and Tommy Gray welcome Chorley Council boost for pitch funding at Euxton Villa.

Your local Labour Team welcomes recently announced plans to transform the facilities at Euxton Villa football club, which is being boosted by the offer of £100,000 from Chorley Council towards its fundraising target of £1million.

The Council made the offer that will contribute towards ambitious plans for a new artificial grass pitch, extended and improved clubhouse and educational facilities at the Runshaw Lane site.

Euxton Villa has long been recognised as an organisation that not only provides a fun environment for learning about and playing the game of football for all ages but also supports the wider health and well-being of local people.

We understand that the proposals are subject to funding being secured from a number of sources and a decision is anticipated in the next few months.
