Samir Khan

Your Labour Councillor for Chorley South East & Heath Charnock

Samir was born in Chorley and has lived here ever since. Having lived in the town, Samir truly understands the struggles that many local people face.

He has previously successfully campaigned for the Pilling Lane pedestrian crossing which has increased safety for residents using Rangletts Rec and the wider area.

Alongside working hard as a Councillor for the residents of Chorley South East & Heath Charnock, he was previously a high school Science teacher who now works as a civil servant.

As a young person who attended schools in Chorley and then worked in Education, Samir understands the need for high-quality public services.

He has recently been working with residents to support and raise awareness around speeding issues and working to resolve anti-social behaviour issues in the ward.
