Chorley Labour Party is a progressive, inclusive and diverse organisation which seeks to represent the interests of the communities we represent. We are proud to have representatives on Chorley Council from 13 of the 14 wards within Chorley Borough.
The Labour-controlled council has been forward-thinking and innovative, investing in local communities and significant projects and also has the 2nd lowest Council Tax rates in Lancashire
We are providing better health care through our NHS having built two GP surgeries, better opportunities for young people through the youth zone, supporting our elderly with two supported accommodation units and creating local job opportunities through new employment zones such as Strawberry Meadows.
We have ensured our town centre remains a vibrant hub firstly by purchasing the Market Walk shopping centre and then extending it to cater for the new cinema and attracting major retailers such as M&S.
The party remains committed to improving our local communities, which is why we have invested over £500,000 in our environment and an additional £200,000 in local neighbourhoods. We will continue to work hard on your behalf and ensure Chorley is a great place to live, work and visit.
