Michelle Beach

Michelle Beach moved to the area to work for Lancashire Constabulary having previously worked for Cleveland Police for a number of years. She retired in 2015 and lives locally with her partner enjoying our beautiful local countryside.

An active community campaigner and advocate, Michelle has opposed the cuts to local NHS services at Chorley Hospital, such as the 24-hour A&E – which has still not been fully reinstated.

Michelle is Labour’s Borough Councillor for Clayton East, Brindle and Hoghton. She has been working closely with residents in the area, particularly around the issue of speeding traffic that has been highlighted in the Lancashire Evening Post.

She is currently working with residents on developing a petition to demand the implementation of calming measures in these villages similar to those which have been introduced elsewhere.
