Tommy Gray

Tommy was born and bred in Chorley and is married with three daughters. He served as a parish councillor representing Euxton for thirty years before retiring and has been a Borough Councillor for over sixteen years, giving 100 per cent to both roles to help make Euxton a better, safer and happier place to live.

He is an active campaigner against unwanted development and for safer roads. Tommy regularly walks around the ward talking to residents and asking if they have any problems he can help with.

He campaigned for a local pedestrian crossing on Runshaw Lane for twenty years and now there are two. He also fought hard against the Gladman’s development on Pear Tree Lane, which the council won twice but sadly lost on appeal.

Tommy campaigned tirelessly to keep Chorley A&E open, regularly standing outside the hospital on Saturday mornings for over two years. As a result, Chorley now has a 12‑hour A&E service.
