My name is Margaret France, I have been a resident of Brinscall since 1983.

I was born in Eaves Lane Hospital, Chorley then attended school at St Joseph’s Chorley, Lark Hill Grammar School, Preston qualifying in 1978 as a doctor.

It was my privilege to work at Withnell Health Centre until 2013, and although long since retired, it will always be a part of who I am.

In 2014 I was elected to Chorley Borough Council to represent the then Wheelton and Withnell Ward, and now in my third term as Borough Councillor.

I am passionate about my home and surrounding villages in the northeast of the Ward and will fight for the needs of the community to be met.
