Dedrah Moss
Your Labour Councillor for Buckshaw & Whittle
Dedrah Moss has been a resident of Whittle-le-Woods for over fifty years. Having raised her family of three here and with five grandchildren, she is very interested in education and health service matters. In particular she is an enthusiastic campaigner for a safe 24-hour A&E service at Chorley Hospital.
With a keen interest in promoting people’s mental health and wellbeing within the community, Dedrah helped set up the community garden and a weekly health walk in Whittle. She has also been integral to the establishment of the Whittle Flower, Craft and Vegetable Show.
Dedrah is currently looking to set up and support similar activities in Buckshaw Village, where she supports the strong local community spirit in this newly developed area and is a regular volunteer with a local litter-picking group. Dedrah is working hard to help keep our community a pleasant place to live.
