Your Labour Candidate for Chorley South West

Kathryn (known as Katie) is a 57-year-old mother of three grown-up sons and married to a retired firefighter.

Born in Chorley Hospital and a pupil at All Saints Primary and Southlands High schools in Chorley South West, where Katie still lives, she and her family are embedded in the area that she cares deeply about.

Katie has served the NHS since 1985 and is acutely aware of the challenges it faces. Having worked in both Chorley and Preston Hospitals as a Nurse and currently as a Midwife. She has also worked in the community, to provide health care directly to many young families in our area.

Katie cares deeply for the welfare of people in Chorley, their environment and animal and wildlife welfare. She appreciates the green spaces and leisure facilities we have in our locality and will work hard to preserve them for future generations to enjoy.

A trusted member of the community who is known for getting things done, Katie would like the honour of representing local people and pledges to work hard for them to give help and support back to the community and locality in which she has been born, brought up and still lives.
