Russell Green
Your Labour Candidate for Buckshaw & Whittle
Russell moved to Chorley 20 years ago and is proud to call Chorley his home. He is married with three children and has lived in Whittle-le-Woods for over five years, having previously lived in Buckshaw Village.
Working as a Chartered Engineer Russ has a passion about enhancing the wellbeing and safety of others. He now wants to harness this same passion to help make the lives and wellbeing of residents of Buckshaw and Whittle better.
Having raised a family in our community, Russ realises the pressing need to provide more facilities and activities for local youngsters to provide positive activities to help them become great citizens of the future.
With direct experience of assisting family members with a disability, Russ also wants to see proper investment in support services locally to ensure that local people don’t have to cope on their own and rather that they have the decent local provision that they deserve.
Russ is also a keen walker, but he is always happy to stop for a chat and a brew if you see him out and about as he can then find out what you, the residents, want him to help deliver for our community here in Whittle and Buckshaw.
