Sarah is a lifelong Chorley resident and has been a borough councillor for two years dealing with a wide range of complex issues and concerns raised by residents.
With her day job as a legal secretary, Sarah’s tenacity and attention to detail allows her to have a direct approach to issues and assist residents with their concerns and problems.
Sarah has helped residents with local issues such as speaking up on their behalf against unwanted planning applications, working to address parking issues within the ward, and working to address the issue of poor road surfaces within the ward such as Collingwood Road and Queens Road. Also dealing with anti-social behaviour in the ward which covers the Town Centre.
One of Sarah’s main interests, is supporting local businesses within the town centre and she believes strongly in the importance of shopping locally to maintain the large variety of traders within our vibrant town centre.
